Stayed at this hotel many times the rooms could do with a refurb but still OK. Not enough hot water for two people to shower. The best thing about the Hotel is the location which is right on the Harbour in the Old Town near many great restaurants and bars.
Top Tip: Casa Cabana, Zaffran Indian & many more. Dog & Duck,Hideaway, Mulligans & The Galleon Bars

You wouldn't get away with a bath in such a bad state in any UK apartment but you forgive this due to having a balcony with a great view and general excellent staff and bar.

Basic food but lots of variety and plenty of it. Great salad selection and breakfast selection.
Top Tip: Loco Alto, a great bar with great 'massive' man steaks!

Fantastic coastal walk into the sun (3 miles) to Puerto Calero marina straight from the hotel.

Good value for money in a very convenient spot for the old town harbour and just a 10 minute walk to the lovely main beach. Stayed all-inclusive and the food was as expected for the cost - buffet meals from which you could always find something suitable, but if you are looking for a huge choice then pay more and go elsewhere. Service was very pleasant with most of the staff being very friendly, the others just getting on with their jobs. Drinks on AI were local beer/spirits/soft drinks/tea/coffee etc so a little weaker than in the UK but hey, just means you drink a few more!! The pool is a good size and there were always sunbeds available, though that's probably to do with the time of year ( Feb ). Room was clean and comfy. Yes, the furniture is dated but who goes on holiday to admire the furniture? Most importantly the beds and furniture were clean and comfortable, no problem sleeping. A nice feature is that all of the rooms are south-facing with a patio/balcony so you can laze in the sun all day next to your room if that's what you want, or like us enjoy the early morning and late evening sun whilst having a drink there. Didn't seem to be too much for kids to do, no entertainment club or anything like that so I could not say whether or not it is suitable for families. In summary, good value for money!
Top Tip: Don't miss the boardwalk down by the harbour or a very pleasant walk along the clifftops to Peurto Calleto, only takes about 45 minutes and you get some lovely views.
