“ We really loved everything about this hotel & its a great location for walkers, with excellent Bus public transport about 150 Meters away. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this great hotel because it fell flat on its face when it came to WI-FI, whitch was costing eleven euro per day.10.0 Spectacular

“ Fairly good hotel. We stayed self catering, kitchen full of what you need. Reception staff weren't very helpful and kept us waiting for a long time on several occasions as multiple members of staff assisted one customer. Paid to use the buffet for breakfast one morning- hot breakfast was quite cold. Pool area nice but pool was too cold to use especially during winter months- heated pool was still cold. Right next to the beach. And 3 minute walk to an area with restaurants and a supermarket. No cash point at hotel and cash point at shops not working while we were there. Rooms tidied daily by maid and good size. Dunked was blocked during stay and bathroom had to be replaced but light fixed immediately.
“ Top Tip: Make sure you get a taxi from the hotel to the new town and old town. Taxis 5 euros to new town, 6 euros to old town and 12 to the airport. Beautiful restaurants by the harbour. Definitely recommend!

The hotel was listed as having plenty of activities
For children, but there was actually very little
And none at all at the weekends.
“ Top Tip: La Italico restuarant was superb as was the Sirocco, both located nearby

Rooms very basic,no tea/coffee making facilities.
The restaurant is like a cafeteria - no tablecloths.
When we arrived we were told that the hotel was over-booked and we were asked to spend the night at another (unspecified) hotel. We refused. As our stay was booked on 30.12.13 we were rather put out to say the least.
This hotel definitely does not meet 4* standards.

“ Good clean hotel, nice location for a relaxing holiday and close to puerta del Carmen. it only costs 5 euro taxi to get to puerta del carmen from the hotel. Food served in the restaurant is absolutely rubbish and if not staying all inclusive then too expensive at 16.50 euro per person. You can get 1000% better food for less at reasturants at Matagorda shopping centre which is 500 yards walk. The WIFI is not included and charged at daylight robbery prices for example 4 euro per hour. In the modern days of technology when pretty much everyman and his dog and cat have a smart phone or tablets etc, it is more than a nuisance for a hotel which claims to be 4 star not to include free WIFI when most places do have free WIFI, even if you pop into a small caffe or restaurant, they all have WIFI for free which only goes to prove that this hotels facility in terms WIFI is absolutely third rate. Other than all is well.
“ Top Tip: If you hire a car you have to take it back before 9am next day no matter when you hired the car on previous day. Taxi to Puerta del Carmen 5 euro. Go to furrtaventura by Ferry. It's a good day out.

“ My wife, daughter and I stayed in Sol Lanzarote Hotel for a week in January. Overall hotel is good, very clean and nice deco. I found pillow a bid uncomfortable as I have got neck problem. Long distance walk from the main reception area to our room, at first we were getting lost. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Kid and adults entertainments were good, we found bingo repetitive. Food was very tasty, something new all the time, however, not hot at all. There is fee for WIFI of 4 euro per hour. Very good location. No major problem at our stay.
“ Top Tip: Do not buy tours around Lanzarote at the hotel, better check local travel shops such as Last Minute, about 10 min walk distance from the hotel, you could save around 20 euros per adults.
