We were two adults and a young child travelling in Mallorca and chose to stay at BV for one night. Couldn't recommend this place to anyone. Staff were unwelcoming, room was dirty and damp, beds were damp with insufficient bedding. We all slept in our clothes and froze. The size of the resort meant that reception was miles away so we just stuck it out and couldn't wait to leave (escape)! I know we paid little for this room but I expect a basic standard of comfort and a night's sleep - or am I asking too much?

I read a few bad reviews after booking and was a bit worried our holiday wasnt going to be great! How wrong was i! The staff were fantastic, they couldnt do enough to help. The apartment we had was a bit out dated but absolutely spotless, personally I prefer cleanliness over decor! The food was lovely, with plenty of choice. My son (aged 9) is extremely fussy but with the variety of food available we had no problems when it came to meal times!
Top Tip: Marine land is a good visit, it's not a huge place but good to spend a few hours! The pirate show is also a good watch!

Having read many bad reviews I was feeling very unsure about booking. I travelled with my husband and three children and we had a fantastic holiday. The room was basic but lovely and clean and if we needed anything the maids were helpful. We were all inclusive and to be honest for what we paid I can't fault it. Breakfast was nice, as was the availability of the snack bar all day. The evening meal was ok, plenty salads and pasta on offer but could have had nicer meats. The pools were great as was the kids club. Entertainment on a night was enjoyable and kept us onsite.
Top Tip: Go and dine early for breakfast, lunch and dinner it is less busy and more options are available. Queue up for the entertainment about twenty to eight to ensure you get a table.
