This hotel is basically for the French, the only entertainment is run by the French tour company FRAM for their guests so therefore only in French. The staff were fine although some do not understand English, the AI bar fine although no snacks and the time shown on your page gave the wrong times for AI it is 11.00 till23.00 which was fine. I would not recommend this hotel to British people as the food is French with the occasional Spanish dish there were less than ten of us in the hotel.
Top Tip: Nothing special but if you prefer a British bar there is one called The Manchester bar.

This hotel was clean and the staff were lovely. Unfortunatly because it was predominantly french guests at this hotel it didn't really cater for the British guest. Stayed in C'an Pastilla many times, love the area.
Top Tip: Mels bar and Poppys bar in the small bay great for a fruendly night out and great food at Mells.

The Hotel Calma mostly was used by the French, the food was good & the room was also good, no fridge & TV was locked ( i take it you had to pay extra), but had A/C was also close to the beach about 200yds away, & was flat. I would stay here again.
Top Tip: The buses into Palma are close by also not to far from the airport.

Ideal location a few minutes from the beach and Bars and Restaraunts. It does cater mainly for the french and German guests. Three English in the Hotel to my knowledge. Food was fine and plenty of it. For the price could not find fault. Always plenty of sunbeds.
Top Tip: Can Pastilla is a quiet resort. A few Bars nearby. Manchester Pub was the Best. Next to KFC. The next resort is Arenal. The germans answer to Magaluf, absolutely jumping

If you Like French people, the Calma Hotel is ideal for you... its geared for them and there are very few English or even German in there, saying that most of the staff were very polite and could speak English. Our room was ok but overlooked the back of the hotel. The air con packed up after 2 days and there was no running water in the bathroom wash basin and the shower worked intermittingly. When I enquired about a change of room there were none availableThe food was also geared to the French, but each night the chefs cooked various meats on a large hotplate. When I booked a wheelchair for my wife through the hotel it took nearly 9 hours to arrive even though there in are places in Palma just down the road. When were to leave on the Monday, I asked on the previous Saturday for an early breakfast, which they agreed to,When we went to Reception there was no record.of it so we had to get some food at the airport.Saying all that, the area is beautiful but I would not stay there again
Top Tip: 2 great bars...Mels Bar..English owned..great food and drink at reasonable prices..the burgers are to die for!!! even the breakfasts are as good!!! ...Poppies Bar just round the corner from the hotel, again great drinks at reasonable prices. The bus service to Palma is superb and will cost you 1.50 euros. Also try the road train which will cost you 4.50 euros well worth the trip.
