Superb value for anyone planning to visit and make use of Port Aventura Theme Park. Although the reception staff were excellent and the Theme Park staff good most others I experienced were poor, notably Guest Services. But all in all I would not consider any other hotel simply as such good value for a family making use of the Park and in our case enjoying the WRC (World Rally Championships) based in the park itself. The Halloween parade and show was truly incredible, Port Aventura really is value for money although since my last prior visit 2 years ago it is easy to spot were they have made a few cut-backs to maximise profits - the steam train has been replaced by a mock electric train, this might seem silly but the atmosphere a steam train creates had always stuck in my mind from before. The stunt show is worth seeing but fairly evident they run it on a zero budget, but bearing in mind the park has an exceptional safety record and out of season the queues are very short I certainly will be back!
Top Tip: Go out of season on weekdays, the days leading up to Halloween were excellent, park was quieter but the atmosphere equally as great.
Restaurant was OK for breakfast, but not worth it for dinner, go into Salou.
Allow lots of time to take in the theme park, don't rush around it!

Hotel was nice there could have being more evening entertainment and a lot of people who were all inclusive were upset that they had to pay for things when they were around the pool. The transfer that you arranged for us had us waiting at the airport for a hour and a half the reps were very rude laughing at us when we tried to explain I don't think I would take them again especially when you have kids waiting around was not cool.

Have stayed at this hotel four times previously and enjoyed it but things appear to have gone downhill. Rooms needed redecorating e.g. chipped sanitary ware. Rooms not properly cleaned; towels were changed and beds made but floors not swept and bath, basin and toilet not cleaned.
Previously complimentary fast track privileges on several rides and a one day entry to the water park were granted with stays at the hotel, but now these have to be bought separately.
Extensive breakfast and dinner buffets.
