Hotel is lovely, clean and welcoming. The main lounge is large and spacious but with plenty comfortable seating where you can be involved with hotel entertainment or find a quite spot for a read or game of cards etc. Rooms are clean and well decorated but a couple of gripes.you have to hire a kettle and mini fridge. A big nono for a tea belly. Large dining room with great service. Food was Ok and always lots of it..always space beside the pool, which was lovely. Even in October you could have a refreshing swim without freezing. Didn't use entertainment but always a decent crowd got involved and seemed to enjoy it. Waiters, cleaners etc all brilliant. 10/10 for them. And lastly prices at the bar were great, similar to surrounding bars and restaurants. Would go again.
Top Tip: Jacks place opposite hotel entrance. Food was fantastic and portions were enormous.

I had previously stayed there and so felt good about the hotel. Everything was going well, apart from the noise from the entertainment near the pool waking us up and flooding our room. On the third morning I woke up earlier than usual to see a couple of bugs and smaller tiny ones on the bed. We complained and the staff changed the mattress and bedding. Having never experienced bed bugs before we mistakenly stayed in that room. The next morning we saw more bugs, not just on the bed, but on the bathroom floor and the hallway. The penny dropped, following advice in an email from my sister! We complained and asked to be moved from the double room. Eventually, while I packed and checked our clothes, my partner visited alternative rooms. At first they offered us a twin. I said we wanted a double, two rooms later we were offered a family room and use of the mini bar. We were a bit surprised that this actually meant use of an empty fridge! There were a couple of loaned bathrobes and a small box of chocolates in the room. After more advice from my sister I asked that the hotel launder some of our clothes. The hotel customer relations manager was nice enough, but said we get visitors from everywhere and asked where we had come from. To me this felt as if she was insinuating that we had brought the bugs with us. I firmly told her that this was not the case and that we were now at risk of infesting our own properties. Now that we are at home, despite putting clothes into plastic bags etc I am struggling to deal with bed bugs at home!! The staff were polite, apologetic and accommodating throughout but this experience has spoilt it for me and I will not return.
Top Tip: Mama's does a great all day breakfast.
Try the Pollo Maya and litre of beer for two euros in a little take away G...can't recall the name but it's round the corner from La Spezia.
The clothes in Nacentia are lovely.

Very nice comfortable hotel. Food was great and the staff brilliant. Only down side is that it is noisy in the corridors probably due to the tiled floor. Means you can heat people walking and pulling cases late at night or early morning. Lobby area is lovely and free Wi-Fi around pool and lobby is a big bonus.

Good location near beach and shops and bars.
Top Tip: Go to Port Adventura for an amazing day out.
