“ The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We had a small problem while we were there, i.e. the shower door knob fell off (twice) and the maintenance man was in our room to fix it before midday. Excellent service. The breakfast buffet was amazing, so much so that my husband and I put on 6 lbs. in weight as there was so much to choose from and we didn't know when to stop! The evening meal (payable) was also excellent and extremely good value. The free safety deposit box, free toiletries, free air con, plus free afternoon tea served 3-5pm daily, free lemonade constantly, free coffee/hot drinks dispenser in the Galleon Pavilion (annexe in which we were staying); and free beach/pool towels with returnable deposit. The 'extras' to this 3* hotel are almost limitless. We cannot praise it enough. We would certainly consider booking this hotel in the future.
“ Top Tip: Small Thursday morning market nearby - under the railway arches.

“ Have stayed many times at this hotel and it never fails to impress. Ideally situated just a few minutes from the train station or airport bus stop. It is not far to walk through the town to the beaches. Close to many restaurants and not ones that will cost you a fortune. The staff are lovely and will do anything to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. A wonderful selection at breakfast, the like I haven't seen anywhere and now they do an evening meal too which is also a magnificent choice . I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. One of the best and certainly great value for money.
“ Top Tip: Bocallino's at the end of Espalter is a nice place to go to catch the last rays of sun (approx 6.30pm) whilst having a lovely jug of Sangria.
