Unfortunately we were all ill with stomach upsets and coughs. We were surprised that there were no facilities on entering the dining room to clean hands. As the meals are all buffets other holiday makers were not particularly hygienic and were picking up food then putting it back on display. No wonder germs were spread so easily.
On arriving at the hotel we were told they had no rooms for us only a family room. We agreed to take this as we were offered all inclusive for doing so. We were told that the bars were open until 12/1230. We were not told that all inclusive stopped at 11/1130.
The room we had was on a level with the sun terrace and we were woken every morning at 7 o clock by people dragging sun beds and putting their towels on them. There was also terrible noise from the pipes which would wake us intermittently through the night. The hotel us in a great area but I wouldn't use it again.
Top Tip: Harry's bar was great and several restaurants were very good.

We have stayed at The Tenerife Best before and have always enjoyed our stay. The food is always very good and well presented. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our room was lovely with a pool view as requested. The situation of the hotel is very good being only a short walk to the beach. Overall we were very happy.

The hotel rooms need a bit of TLC. The plaster work was damaged around the doors in some cases, The wardrobe fittments were very poor. The lifts were terrible in that they had a mind of their own and frequently a ten minute wait was normal. It was so bad that many people were struggling up and down the stairs to avoid the wait. There were no working indicators near the lifts to indicate the position of the lifts so you were never able to establish what was happening until they actually arrived. The outside bar arrangements for bill payments were inconvenient for staff and guests as every payment had to be transported by the staff to the reception and the change returned the same way.
On the positive side the dining room arrangements seemed fine, the food was good with a good selection replenished continually and the staff were good.
Reception seemed to be well organised.
Top Tip: If entertainment is important Shenanigans is very close being near the Patch and although opening late at 9.00PM is great fun from 10.30 with the very funny Loonytunes duo.

Very clean. All staff including cleaners very pleasant. Requested high floor with sunny balcony, had perfect room 612 with large balcony and fantastic views. Really made our holiday, just a pity weather hadn't been better.
Top Tip: Truelucks restaurant very good
