The rooms were not as clean as I expected and standard of cleaning not great.
Apartments are very dated. The bath was very stained and the shower hose and head were stained with limescale. It was definitely a 'patch up' rather than replace kind of place.
Although there was a bath it was not really possible to have a proper bath because the hot water seems to come from an individual tank in the room so there was only enough hot water to have less than 2 inches (50mm) of reasonably hot water before it ran out. I guess one could have waited for another tank full to heat up and add that but I imagine by then the water already in the bath would have gone cold.
There was entertainment at the pool which was very noisy in the room until it stopped at about 10-10:30pm
Like many of these apartments the soundproofinmg between rooms is quite poor and we easily heard noise from the apartment next door especially when they had noisy children.or were talking and laughing /had the TV on late into the night and were trying to get to sleep.
The first apartment we had had a leaking toilet so bathroom floor was damp and had a noisy bar was on the opposite side of the road. That said the hotel staff were helpful, even though it was very busy and sorted out an alternative apartment that we moved into.
Top Tip: Best tip (but pretty obvious when you are there) is that there is a very good Lidl supermarket just 50m up the road open 7 days a week until 9pm.
Going down the hill back into Puerto Satiago there is a very good, small fruit shop on the RHS about 5 mins walk away.

Hotel was a throwback to holidays as a child/ old fashioned and in need of updating basic but spotless clean staff always spoke and were helpful and very friendly! 2 star hotel with 5 star staff! Pools were nice / didn't try the food and a lot of British families were complaining that there was not a lot of choice for the all inclusive and it was of poor quality / I meat 1 fish and 1 veg option and limited drinks you could have however for what we paid we were happy with the complex everything is surrounding it lovely walks and strolls small beach 5 minutes walk down cardiac hill ( it's not that bad! ) in playa arena area - we enjoyed the views! And was lovely to walk the food off! Restaurants and bars we found really reasonable we ate out everyday and had lovely food everywhere. Be aware though the price you see advertised in shops are not what you pay once you go to the till ? The entertainment was singer on piano and sung all English songs parrot show and snake show and Friday they do a BBQ- didn't try lots of bars for entertainment all around low key but depends what you want. The rooftop pool had a jacuzzi and was fantastic for sun worshippers fantastic views of giganties cliffs -I would definetly return to these apartments for a cheap no frills base holiday!
Top Tip: We found fettuccini restaurant at the back of the hotel to be really good food full of Locals poor looking aesthetically but tagalitteli pasta dish was fab! Bobby's Indian and krishinas ( Los gig antes ) was also good! The lady underneath the apartments (by scoobys cafe )offers great trips and will match prices if you see cheaper- she was super helpful and when there was a problem with park ticket she sorted straight away would definetly recommend her services. Loro park was 2.5 hours there and back from this point and we didn't find good value for the high price if you haven't been to a park you will enjoy but we have seen lots of these type!

Fantastic hotel for the money. The two bedroom apartments are really spacious and are cleaned every day. Close to bars and restaurants, I would really recommend Legends bar and restaurant and The Blarney Stone bar and restaurant for excellent food and service.
Top Tip: Lidl is next door which is brilliant if you are self catering.

I would stay here again or reccomend it to anyone else seeking value for money, good service friendly staff, adeqate cleaning regime.good food ,2 pools, jacuzzi, plenty of sunbeds.ALL good. One petty gripe,if i wanted to check my email each day,had to get a fresh password from reception for 1 euro. the cost is not a problem to me,just the inconvenience..... petty but when one gets used to "free" wi fi[am sure they charge for it] I would not object to paying for full access..
Top Tip: sporting club opposite,Prawn salad to die for!!
