Top Tip: There was a restaurant about 100m away on the same road. Hotel customers can get a 5 franc per person discount in exchange for a card from the hotel.Don't forget to ask for the card(s). Prices were not bad but food is not cheap in Switzerland.

The staff were friendly, polite and spoke good English which was essential for us. The hotel was clean, the rooms refreshed each day, and the provision of a fridge very useful. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice.
The only slight complaint would be that the rooms above the staff entrance were very noisy early in the morning during deliveries.

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is in a quiet residential area close to the local station, and to the start of the very pleasant walk up to the Uetliberg from which there are good views over Zurich and the mountains beyond.

Ours was a standard room and a bit small, but absolutely spotless and clean bedding and towels were provided every single day. There were lots of nice touches i.e. mini safe in the room which was free (always had to pay in other hotels), tea/coffee facilities in the room, mini bar, hairdryer and toiletries in the bathroom. The Staff were extremely professional and friendly, they couldn't do enough for us and made us very welcome. There was a good choice of cold food for breakfast, nothing hot apart from beverages but it was all excellent.
The hotel is up quite a steep hill but it is only 10 mins walk to the local railway station and a 10 min ride to the main station in the centre of Zurich. Local trains ran every 20 mins and were always on time. Zurich is very expensive but well worth a visit and we would definitely stay at the Atlantis Guesthouse Hotel again on a return visit. Thank you Travel Republic!
Top Tip: We would recommend buying a "Tourist Ticket" as you can travel on all the trams/trains/buses and boats. It is also valid for free admission to some of the museums and saved us quite a lot of money.

A great price and on the train line into Zurich. Lovely and clean, very friendly staff. A perfect base for a weekend in Zurich.
Top Tip: I would get the Zurich card next time - covers you for 24 hours of travel and discount into certain attractions - worth the money if you're using buses and trains.
