The hotel was pretty much what we expected as a family with kids aged 13 & 9 there for 9 nights. Clean, comfortable & relaxing, but not stunning, hence the 7/10 rating.
Rooms were modern & clean, although we had a 2-hour wait upon arrival (at midnight) for our room to be available, not a great 1st impression.
Food was decent and varied with good choices for kids, although the main restaurant had a bit of a canteen feel about it as it was both busy & hot. A la Carte (Italian was great).
Swimming pools were great, although as expected the pools in the Aqua Park were very busy, although no queues for the slides themselves. The kids loved the slides. If you want a more peaceful sunbathe, then use the main (& bigger) pool, which was quieter and slightly cooler. Didn't use the beach across the road but other comments were that it was ok but nothing special.
The hotel is a bit isolated with nothing much within walking distance. However we did get on a public bus and spent a day in Alanya (30 mins away & 8TL each) and really enjoyed this, including the bus ride! It's a lovely town with with great market / shops and very pretty port / marina. Ensure you pay a visit.... We also jumped on the hotel courtesy bus to Konakli Market on the Weds for a couple of hours. A good, if standard Turkish market / bazaar.
In summary, a decent & clean if unspectacular stay. Good for kids but probably more geared for a weeks stay, rather than 2, otherwise I think you could go a little stir crazy.
“ Top Tip: Make sure you visit Alanya, a 30 minute bus ride away, for great markets, shops & town in general.
