The service was awful, rude reception staff and they were too busy. Cleaning standard was average or below average. Not worthy of a five star hotel, a good four star hotel.Swimming pool was of a good standard. Long queue for the food.

Top Tip: The beach outside the hotel was very good.

Wow - is probably the best word to describe this holiday/hotel/experience. We loved every minute! This was probably our best ever holiday - the hotel was luxurious & its architecture elegant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was massive and segregated - party pool, aquapark (7 slides for older kid/adults and 3 in a separate pool for young kids) baby pool, kids shallow pool, pool area near the bars and quiet(ish) pool area (until my kids got there haha) the entertainment team worked hard and will get better but I have been to other hotels where they were very good. There was entertainment - a pier party which any young lad would like (all men actually!!) my 14 yr old couldn't take his eyes off the podium dancers, live music (not everyones taste but it at least they tried to cater for everybody) and a show almost every night which would have been better if the hotel had used "outside" professional entertainers rather than just the entertainment team, as sometimes they seemed quite amateurish. Food was non stop and of exceptional quality. It was available 24 hours as was the alcohol and we were completely blown away by the quality, availabity (nothing ever ran out) and choice. There were also about 4 speciality restaurants which you could eat in once as part of the ultra all inclusive deal - we used the Mexican and feasted on 7 courses as part of the set menu.
Don't get me wrong - it's not 100% perfect. There are things that can be improved slightly - it's only been operational since April so there are bound to be small things that need looking at. But they are small and its makes me laugh sometimes when I read some reviewers comments on certain websites where their whole holiday seems to be one long complaint. Holidays, like life, are what you make them.

Top Tip: with regards to travel republic, again exceptional service. Everything ran smoothly with not one hiccup so my tip is don't hesitate to book with Travel Republic and get booked up at The RHP. Enjoy.
