Good hotel lots of facilities But why no iron in rooms & very expensive to have clothes pressed!!! .No clear signs around hotel at all missed lots of things only found adults only restaurant at the end of our holiday .The biggest disappointment was the pools great to look at BUT so cold only a handful of people in them at any one time , I would give this a 4 star rating

We have never been to Turkey before and were really impressed by the Susesi Luxury Resort and would thoroughly recommend it to all and for all ages. From the moment you arrive until you leave all of the staff work incredibly hard to make your stay as relaxing and special as they can in a very clean and picturesque setting.
We travelled with 2 teenage children and stayed in a family room near the lazy river at the back of the hotel. The room was large and comfortable and the mini bar was a nice feature that was restocked daily.
We made use of the free Al-a-carte restaurants (rather than paying the 15 Euros each for others) and would thoroughly recommend these as somewhere different to eat. However the main restaurant had different themes most nights and we could not fault the range of food available.
Although the complex was busy at the end of August - it was easy to find quiet areas if you wanted and there was plenty of space for all without feeling that everyone was was on top of each other. To get the sunbeds that you wanted you really did have to be before 8am, however staff would always find you beds and shade if you arrived later in the day near the pool area. There were always sunbeds available on the beach and again plenty of shade. We loved the variety of swimming pools both inside and outside and the lazy river at the back of the hotel (which you could swim to from the main pool) was very relaxing. There was even a bar at this part of the hotel which meant you were never too far away from a cool relaxing drink whether alcoholic or not.
The evening entertainment although not always to our taste was professionally delivered and again everyone worked really hard to deliver a great performance / experience. We especially liked the magician and gymnastic displays. We didn't go to any of the parties after the entertainment finished but they did look like everyone was having fun.
Top Tip: Arriving hungry at around 23:00 we were worried that there would be little to eat - however the midnight to 6am buffet was lovely with an excellent range of hot and cold food. We were seriously impressed.
The beach foam party on Thursday afternoon was certainly very different and loads of fun - just be careful not to get any of the bubbles in your eyes as it could really sting.
I needed some extra medication whilst there - we were really impressed that the hotel guest relations called a local pharmacy and arranged for the medicine to be couriered to the hotel for free. All I paid for was the cost of the medicine which was cheaper than at home!

This was my third visit to Turkey and second visit to Belek. We stayed at the Cornelia Diamond golf resort & spa last time which was fabulous so the Susessi had a lot to live up to. Although we had a lovely holiday and the hotel is still very good, sadly it wasn't as great as the Cornelia Diamond. The main problem was the lack of communication and friendliness of staff. Most did not speak English which led to regular wrong orders at the lunch time outdoor restaurant and delays at the main restaurant. Some staff at these restaurants were also quite rude. The decor in the hotel room was a little shabby and we had to request housekeeping and minibar service as often they were late. However, the hotel overall was well decorated, very clean and very nice. The poolside, bar and entertainment staff were very friendly and the hotel had a very relaxed feel about it. The water slides were excellent and only a short walk from the main pool. We didn't struggle to get loungers. The food was very good and in abundance with lots of variety and freshly made waffles and crepes from 4-6pm was great. The spa was excellent but expensive. There is a free Turkish hamaam and sauna/steam room available too. Overall the hotel is well above average but still only 'good' to 'very good' compared to its neighbour Cornelia Diamond.
