Beautiful hotel. Right on the beach. The staff were very friendly (with one exception, that I won't name).
Food was ok'ish. Lunchtime burgers etc, afternoon tea, cakes, ice cream much better than I expected.
The other criticism was there was not enough space for people to dine in a warm place if the weather gets bad ( it did).
All in all a great hotel. I would recommend it to anyone.

At check in we were advised that we had booked a promotional room, to any English person that would read a room you would like to promote and get feedback. When I questioned what was a promotional room? I was advised that I had booked a below standard room! what I did not forsee was that not only did I look out on a pile of mud, but I was next to the onsite bakery, churning the dough at 2am every morning, included in that we were woken up with two inches of water in the bedroom area at 4am one morning whereby we were told to go the reception where they mopped the room dry changed the bedding and sent us to our room, no apology or reason. On departure the only thing they were interested in was getting the fee for the deposit box of £20. Note no internet in the rooms so everyone has to go to reception for free wifi use. Entertainment cheesy, a la carte very poor (more like off a cart), only thing to do is drink or read a book. Not a 5 star hotel, more a 3. On a good note, staff are very helpful, hotel very clean hotel, very good choice of food in the buffet and very tasty but goes cold very quick as they don't keep it heated. Over all I felt I was in Benidorm.
