We went in April when most of Marmaris was not ready for tourists, plus weather was not great- sunny spells but cold winds.
Hotel newly refurfbshed and looking very good.
Staff very friendly and attentive. But not busy due to time of year.
Room was perfect. However Room 3201 outlook was onto 100 balconies of neighbouring hotel (which thankfully was closed) plus over slide pool which would have been my nightmare had it been functioning, which it was not, as season began mid April.
Some areas not yet open.
Very pleased with the buffet meals and with the fact there is self service for water, juices and coffee/ teas .
Spa was expensive at £65 per person for full works. This was full turkish plus foot and Indian head massage. But my family did not want to go to public baths at Armuttalan again which, I think. would have been as good for third the price.
My son had a turkish shave which was more costly than manchester £10 and no hot towels (which is therefore surely no Turkish!) at the hairdressing salon, however my daughter has her eye brows dyed and her upper lips and brows threaded for 10 TL (about £3.00).
To summarise- we had great food, excellent service (remembering there is no table service here), and a great room for 3 (2 bedrooms for a 3 bedroom price). But no sea views. I would definitely recommend this hotel but all depends on the time of year and how crowded/busy it becomes.
I paid £50 per person per night all inclusive in April and I was very happy with that.
Top Tip: I feel that all rooms are refurbished and fancy with all mod cons including slippers, hair/washing products/ hair dryer and kettle/coffee/empty fridge etc. I doubt many have sea views. Hotel has number of bars/areas, different areas to enjoy shade/sun. 4 x pools which include inside one.
