Lovely hotel. We had a jacuzzi room which was stunning. The attention to detail was very good Especially the Towelling robes and slipper were a nice touch. Most days the maid put fresh flowers on the bed along with the usual towel sculptures.
Down side wAs the entertainment was only on 2 nites a week- but what they had was top notch (quality not quantity) . The 20mins up hill walk to Hisaronu in the heat and all the steps around the hotel might be a problem for some people but was fine for us
Would definitely stay here again.
Top Tip: Get a jacuzzi room - well worth it.

We booked this hotel in March 2013, to attend a family wedding, two standard rooms and a deluxe jacuzzi suite. At that time the reviews were fantastic, however over the course of the year, there have been many negative reviews. If you have booked this hotel, please ignore them!

Due to these, I was obviously quite skeptical, we arrived on 27th June for 10 nights. Upon arrival, which was about midnight, we were met by a staff member who carried all the luggage down the steps to reception, check in was straightforward, he then painstakingly carried the luggage to our rooms.

I had contacted the hotel in advance to request that our rooms were as close to each other as possible, we were allocated rooms 2302 to 2304, we couldn't have asked for better than that. The rooms are beautiful, toiletries & hair dryers are supplied.

There are notices asking you not to bring in food and drink from outside, and that it will be removed from your room if there is any, this sounds a bit harsh, but just to put it into perspective, here a few prices:

Water 0.5L 1.5tl (£0.43)
Water 1.5L 2.5tl (£0.72)
Water 5L 4.5tl (£1.29)
Can of coke, iced tea etc 4.5tl (£1.43)
Pringles small 3tl (£0.86)
Twister/ice lolly 2.5tl (£0.72)
Magnum/cornetto 5tl (£1.42)
Efes lager 500ml 8tl (£2.29), the same as most of the bars.

There is also quite a varied selection of bar meals/light bites available, these are no more expensive than eating in Hisaronu or Olu Deniz. Overall they are more expensive than in the shops, but still very reasonably priced.

The breakfast is good with a varied selection for most tastes, pancakes and omelettes are cooked upon request, there are sausages, mushrooms, beans, scrambled eggs, cereals, toast, croissants, fresh fruit, cheeses, hams, dried fruits, jams, chocolate spread and yogurts. Tea, coffee, fruit juices and water are served to you at your table.

The choice of evening meal is fantastic, three courses, ordered from a varied menu selection, incuding, steaks, seafood, lamb, pastas, turkish, chicken and vegetarian options in many varied dishes, all served beautifully with chips, rice, mashed potatoes, salad or vegetables. This has to be the best half-board food I have ever experienced. They also have a BBQ night which also has a really nice selection to choose from. A little tip, the 'brownie' desert option consists of six brownies surrounding a delicious dollop of ice cream! The portions are very good, expect to feel 'stuffed', water is also served free with your meal, most half board establishments make you pay for water.

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, the pool areas are very well kept and pool towels are supplied.

Obviously given the location of the hotel, there are lots of steps, but they are staggered, not a huge hike all at once, be careful when they are wet, they are very slippy!

The bar does not stay open all night as mentioned in previous reviews, but the staff do like to have a good time with the guests, as they do in most bars in Turkey. Most nights it would be closed by 2am, only on one occasion in 10 nights that it was open until about 3.30, but my husband and I were willing customers so cannot complain...it was one of the best holidays that we've had.

There is some noise during the day from the neighbouring Orka hotel, but nothing that I would personally complain about, I can see that some people will feel it has spoilt the views, if they have stayed here previously, but the views are still amazing, we were not disappointed at all.

I have to say a word about the staff too, they were very polite throughout our stay, yes some of them do speak little English, such as the cleaners and the groundsmen, but most have a good basic understanding, which is much more than can be said of our understanding of the Turkish language!

I would most definitely stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying there...sorry, if this review seems like 'war & peace', but there are a few things in here that answer some of the questions I had before going, I hope it helps you 😊

Hotel was always clean. Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Bar and restaurant staff were great! Breakfast was always lovely with a great omelette maker!! The evening meals, although the choice was good, the quality of the food wasn't as good as I would have expected. We only ate there one night. The maids were fantastic, always leaving a lovely pattern on the bed which was a lovely touch. I would recommend this hotel.
Top Tip: We went on a private boat trip. 5 people £40 per person, full day on the baot including a lovely dinner. I would recommend this rather than a bigger boat as it was great, with our own music and lots of fun!
