Hotel 2 kilometers from village with buses running frequently. Free bus to beach and back every day. Its quiet clean and staff are very pleasant. Food is average but don't expect English fayre. Entertainment mostly karaoke as went lkate in season but really lacks in this area. If you want poolside quiet holiday with a few trips to restaurants licatioin us OK. Also manyt excursioibs bookable in town art reasonable prices.
Top Tip: Shiroz restaurant nearby and very good. Also Teras really good full english breakfast.

This was our twelfth visit to the Yel Hotel all booked by your selfs , the manager and all the staff are so welcoming to us plus all new clients, no body is treated any different. All the rooms have been updated with new showers and furniture. The food served is very nice with a good selection ,they have had the same head chef for a considerable time.
The swimming pool is in perfect condition ,this is overseen every day by the manager.
Top Tip: The Sundial restaurant is something special the food is excellent and the setting great you arrive before sunset ,and this you watch go down over the City of Fetthiye with Time To Say Goodbye being played , a vey moving experience .

The hotel is situated in the mountains which has the advantage of being a little cooler than if it was nearer the beach or towns. The beach is a free bus ride away but we went once and didn't rate it much. Its more of a lagoon (enclosed by mountains and no waves also not clear water). The towns and markets are easy enough to get to in about a 5-10min walk down a hill to the bus stop. Buses run very frequently and only cost around 2lira each. The hotel rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed around every 3 days. The cleaners even make swans out of the towels and leave petals on the bed. The only complaint I have about the room was the size (we booked for ourselves and our son and were given 3 single beds, 2 together and the other only about a foot away which was actually a camp bed. It felt like we were sleeping in one large 3 person bed) We were told that the 3 person rooms were all occupied so the hotel had made a twin room into a tripple. The entertainment was ok but repeated the second week. There were quite a few turkish people staying at the hotel so entertainer spoke in 2 languages throughout the night and music was played in turkish and some in english. The food was excellent and had a large variety. Drinks ok also. The pool is a great size and sunbeds were always available. All in all I will be going back to this hotel as the pros outway the minor cons. Great hotel, recently renewed and very clean.
Top Tip: Market days are: monday hirisanu and Tuesday at fetiheye. Apparently they are open past midnight so would be best visited when its cooler in the evening. Just walk down the hill at the back entrance of the hotel and catch a bus. There are travel shops in the town that sell daily trips pretty cheap and very reliable. Also theres a sports bar on the main road 5 mins from the hotel.
