  • This is a fabulous hotel all the staff a friendly and professional. The hotel has two swimming pools with lots of sun beds for those who don’t go to the beach. The rooms are great especially with the power showers.

This is a very nice hotel with nice clean rooms .Sheets and towels changed each day. Also great shower
No english tv except news.
Good internet
The bar was not open and the hotel lacks atmosphere.
Which is a shame as it is probably the best hotel in the area
Also breakfast is not good.
The town is easy to get to just 5min walk along the river.I would stay there again.

Top Tip: Close to the river and restaurants.

Very Good

A very friendly and clean hotel with very helpful staff set in beautiful surroundings. Lunch was fine but I would recommend eating in the village rather than the hotels restaurant of an evening as we found the food better there.

Top Tip: There are several very good restaurants in the village just a short stroll along the river, The White Lotus is a favourite with us.

Get the bus to the beach and enjoy views across the bay as you descend, then make the walk along the beach and return by public boat along the river.

Beautiful hotel and so close to all shops and restaurants but not too close so still very peaceful and relaxing.
There could be some improvements though. Very bad lighting in hotel. Very dark to find way back to room on an evening. Light not bright enough in room and unable to even read a book.
Small shop on site would be handy.
Food for breakfast very basic and food uncovered with lots of flies on food.
Unable to access safe in evening as you have to take key from power so light goes off so you can't see.
Hotel much more suited to couples or people with older children as pool not shallow enough for small children to touch bottom.
Lots of building work going on and second pool where our room was next to was empty and lots of unfinished buildings.

Overall great. A very nice pool area and excellent spa. Reception were very helpful. Food was good generally although the breakfast was a little limited. There was building work going on but it was not particularly a problem.
Only 2 downsides. Firstly the pool side bar staff played awful chewing gum pop music which was often disturbing. Secondly the bedroom was a bit on the small side with a low ceiling in parts. Not ideal if you are over 6 foot 2 inches.
It would not prevent me returning however.

Top Tip: There are dozens of restaurants and of the 6 we went to the best were The Four seasons, The Hidden Garden and Bistro Blue.
