I was met by a very nice lady and shown to my room (16). She also gave me a card with the door lock number on.
The bed was ok,the pillows were some what flat.
The Wifi worked like a dream as did everything else.
I awoke in the morning to the smell of drains emanating from the bathroom. This was quite unpleasant.
Might be the drains backed up or the traps are draining and letting the smell up,if you have a one way air admittance valve maybe broken, this sucks the traps dry.
Breakfast was good with a lovely range of cereals, juices and the obligatory full English.
I left with some happy banter with the staff, but you really need to sort those drains.
Top Tip: Jay Pur for a reasonable curry.

We were welcomed warmly by the team at the guest house. Beds were comfy and breakfast tasty. We also had an evening meal there which was also very lovely. The only criticsm was that the ale was very cold and would have been much nicer at room temperature.
Top Tip: The White Horse has great real ale. The Thai cottage was amazing.
