  • Decided to book this hotel for my dad to give him a wee break as he was recovering from a major operation. The hotel itself was superb and so too were the staff however due to a power cut for most of our stay my father could not get about the hotel as they had no power and I found it a surprise that a hotel like this did not have there own generator .

Check-in date:

Due to the fact we had paid a reduced rate it was clear at check in we were allocated a slightly below par room. We have stayed at this hotel many times, as a couple, also amongst a large party, the entertainment is excellent, something for everyone, and the breakfast was really good. Cannot comment on the evening meal.

Check-in date:

Comfortable room. Booked breakfast but missed it and asked could we use the booking for the following morning. But was refused. Where is the Christmas spirit? Brussel sprouts were like ping pong balls.

Entertainment was good. A variety of singers.
