“ Great location for anyone visiting Bath. A pleasant 10 minute walk along the river side and you're right in the centre.8.8 Excellent

“ We were greeted by a very helpful reception team who checked us into rooms that were close together. The family room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. Their website states it is 1 mile from the train station when it is literally a 5 minute walk across the canal so train travellers bear this in mind.9.5 Exceptional

We were greeted by a very helpful reception team who checked us into rooms that were close together. The family room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. Their website states it is 1 mile from the train station when it is literally a 5 minute walk across the canal so train travellers bear this in mind. Onsite parking is only £5 a day and the price of the drinks in the bar are very reasonable. One of the receptionists knocked our door in the afternoon asking if we needed any additional towels which I thought was brilliant for what is a budget hotel. I have stayed in far more expensive hotels and had problems with towels being changed daily.
Will definitely visit Bath again and would stay at this hotel again.

I think I had a refurbished room. I was expecting a twin room, but I got a family room. It was OK, but there isn't a drawer in the room, and the shelf space is absolutely minimal. The bathroom was fine, except that there was a notice to ask us to put towels on the rails - but quite simply, there isn't enough rail space for more than one person's towels. The food for breakfast and evening was good value.
I think they had only just finished refurbishing, and were not into their stride - one day, our room wasn't cleaned/entered. I'm trying to be positive - it would be fine for one night, but for more than that, unless changes are made, it wouldn't be acceptable to some families. It'll use it, though, when I go to Bath again, because it is so conveniently sited.
“ Top Tip: The WQhite hart pub, only a couple of hundred metres away is worth a visit.

“ the hotel have a policy not to accept left luggage before checking in and after checking out [12 noon]. so we arrived at 11.30 am and wanted to walk round the town without our luggage and couldnt unless we paid £10. Similarly our train didnt leave til 19.43 . Luckily we had some friends nearby we could leave our luggage with. Every other hotel in the world allows guest to leave their luggage in a luggage room before and after checking in/out time. BAD MARKS TO TRAVELODGE
