Myself and my husband love old country houses or castles but I feel this one is maybe in need of some TLC the rooms where very small and had 4 poster beds in so they looked even smaller and there were cobwebs everywhere you looked. On a positive note the bathroom was gorgeous and so was the food and service in the hotel restaurant.
The location of the hotel was also very good just over 1 mile from Brixham
Overall I would stay again.

“ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent, the hotel full of charm and character and the staff very polite and helpful
“ Top Tip: There is a lovely walk into Brixham through beautiful countryside and along a coastal path. Brixham has many seafood restaurants and we enjoyed exploring the harbour and surrounding area.
