They had no information about our booking which we booked threw yourselves, therefore we had to give credit details to pay for our room. Thankfully they had rooms available and the issue surrounding payment was sorted the following day. they advertised robes would be available in the executive double but none were available. The main restaurant was under refurbishment this was not advertised and had we known it would have affected our choice of hotel.
Service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious, it was just a shame it was served in a function room with no atmosphere.

the price deal we got with travel republic was good- nearly £30 less than a friend paid later direct with the hotel. we were staying overnight for a friend's wedding that took place at 2pm but the hotel were very unacccommodating in allowing us into our rooms before 2pm so had to arrive dressed for the occasion and take our bags up after the wedding breakfast at about 7pm.
the room was comfortable enough but too warm at night despite the window being open and i was surprised that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in our room; i thought that was a given these days.
checkout was very slow.

The room was a little tired but the rest of the hotel and the grounds were very nice. The strength of the hotel however is the staff, they are simply superb.
