  • The hotel was good. The AC was excellent. I was a bit unhappy of the time taken at the check-in desk as they could not find my reservation in their system. I took a sit and waited in the lounge for 15 minutes before getting and answer from them.

    7.0 Good

  • The hotel was clean and organized, but very simple. This hotel is for those who do not have the luxury to sleep.

First of all, the receptionist is an old man was terrible service.
I did book for a single room. but he was saying I give you a big room.
when I open the door, I had almost shock. it's a big room but there are 4 bed and 2 deck bed in my room. I paid £80 for nothing value of this hotel. some smoke smell.
The service is really poor.I won't go again. Do you know when I show my room picture to all my friends, they all laugh at me. It's rubbish hotel as I never seen before.

Top Tip: I went to Thai restaurant call Tamnag Thai, it was really good.

When my partner arrived they sent him into a basement room which smelt mouldy, was cold and dingy. He requested another room. He was given one on the first floor. The room was meant to be a double but had a double bed and single bed in there.
There was hair on the floor. Noisy! The bath didn't have a plug for it. The floor was filthy. The tv reception was poor. The tiles need re grouting. The bathroom door had damage which filled in but never rubbed down and painted. The radiator was partly hanging off the wall and oh did I mention how cold the room was.

Because a hotel is cheap it doesn't mean it should be kept in this condition!!

Top Tip: Yes a sainsburys

Top Tip: There is a large Sainsburry shop 200 yards away.

Check-in date:

Staff were charming, but this rambling warren of a hotel is very run down. My room was shabby, if mostly clean: the curtains were hanging off the rail and were too narrow for one of the windows. The extractor fan in the shower room was deafening and continued for ages after the light was switched off. The only light switch for the bedroom was by the door, with no bedside lamps, so I had to feel my way over to the bed in the dark. There was some mould in the shower, the shower tray had been glued after breaking, and the laminate chipboard behind the beds was chipped and flaking. There was an armchair, but its cover was torn and split. I only paid £39 - less than Travelodge - but this was below the water-mark in my book. Sorry.

(I'm assuming that by 'younger people' this survey means 'young adults', not 'children'.)

Top Tip: There are some nice cafes and bars as you walk towards the centre of Crystal Palace (taking the left fork). You pass Sainsbury's and they're after that.
