This visit was for business purposes as I was attending a course nearby. The room was great and the staff were fabulous.

A bit disappointing really. We stopped not far away last year at a more budget hotel, about 40% cheaper than this one. At the cheaper hotel we got free wi-fi and biscuits with the tea coffee in the room. To be honest I think they are being a bit cheapskate in not providing these as non charging essentials nowadays. Yes the building, the room the ambience was better but at the price it should be. Few of the waitresses at breakfast spoke enough English for us to order a de caffinated tea and a caffinated coffee successfully and the duty manager had to get involved.
Also had a problem collecting our case from guest services as the chap had gone off to deal with a problem elsewhere and it took a long time for someone else to be found to retrieve the case.
Not the most serious of issues but will probably mean we won't return here again.

On arrival hotel looked very nice and clean. Staff very welcoming and polite. Once in room it was good size but very dated. The windows were dirty along with stains down one side of the bed. Also not mentioned was the tube running every few minutes outside our room. Lunch in the bar while waiting for room to be finished getting ready was very expensive and basic. Forty two pounds for a half chicken baguette with a side of half a bag of crisps and a lettuce leaf and two cucumber slices x two , one very small glass of Pinot Grigio and two pints of beer!!! Only stayed one night but have stayed in much better in London for same price. Ideal location though .

Another good stay. I have used this hotel on several occasions and keep returning. This stay was especially good value. Staff are very helpful
Top Tip: Great little place for breakfast called Muffin Man about 100 metres from hotel on street up to tube station.
