“ Staff very helpful and professional. Hotel very nice. Maybe think about a sign showing how the sink plugs work - we had to ring the reception for an explanation on how to unplug the sink!8.9 Excellent

“ Welcoming staff, easy check-in / out. Room was clean and well appointed layout of the room was different but worked, loved the headboard. Whilst no food was partaken of the menu appeared to offer a range of choice and prices to suit most pockets given the location of the hotel.8.4 Great

“ I had five nights at The Cumberland. For me it is perfectly situated with Oxford Street to the left, Hyde Park opposite and through the park to Knightsbridge. Perfect for those who want to shop. Could not be closer to a tube station. The rooms where a good size for London and were very quiet considering the traffic around Marble Arch. My room was to the side and fourth floor so maybe that helped. Breakfast was no better nor worse than I expected from a buffet, for those wanting a full English it is available. For an extra charge you can have waiter service a la carte breakfast. All staff at breakfast very helpful. Staff in the Bar were a little slow but still very pleasant. It is fairly priced for London and because of its location I would stay there again.
“ Top Tip: Because of its proximity to the shops leave some room in your case!

“ Upon arrival we had to wait 25 minutes in a queue to check-in, others had been waiting for an hour, even though I had booked on-line! - The staff were very polite. The hotel was very well presented and clean - the next day we had to wait another 20minutes in a queue for breakfast - the hotel management seriously needs to review their processes and the negative effect it has on customer experience ?

“ Top Tip: Range of eateries for all price ranges within easy walking distance

The Hotel is convenient for shopping and the rooms are modern and spacious.
The staff are always very polite.

The room was ok, but could have been better - for example the air conditioning from the outside corridor was very noisy and the room took a long time to warm up. The bathroom floor was very cold (not ideal at this time of year) and the shower door leaked.
However, the staff were very courteous and helpful and breakfast was very good. The hotel location, near to Marble Arch, made travel around London very easy.
“ Top Tip: Marble Arch tubestation is right next to the hotel, which is very handy.
