The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and tidy. We tried out the bar in the evening and the staff were quick to serve you and you were met with a smile and warm greeting.
We had breakfast included and this was lovely, plenty to eat, hot and no waiting about, We are looking to book again for later on in the year.
Top Tip: The Court house Hotel which is only a 10 min walk has a great restaurant called Silk that served excellent food
3.5 Unsatisfactory

Unsatisfactory for the price. Shabby, noisy and in need of a refurbishment.
Breakfast booked for the 2 mornings but went to Café Rouge for the 2nd as did not want to repeat the canteen experience with poor quality food.
Very Poor

The bed was very uncomfortable, we could feel the springs in our back and it was like sleeping on a trampoline - as soon as one of us moved the other was bounced awake!

Also the room was way too hot, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work and the fire alarm was set off at 3am waking everyone up.

If you are young and can sleep almost anywhere then perhaps this hotel is for you, it seemed to be full of people on stag/hen do's who probably passed out when they got back to their room in the middle of the night so didn't notice how awful their rooms were.

We won't be staying there again that's for sure!
