the continentil breakfast was corn flakes toast and watered down orange juice. would not bother gettin up for breakfast. the double room which was booked consisted of two single beds. the toilet was so small that your knees touch the door when sitting on the pan and the shower was next to you separated by a shower curtain. also when stepping out the bathroom theres a step no warning sign so older ppl would certainly fall.
Top Tip: dont book it.

The Seymour Hotel is located very close to Paddington Rail Stn which means you can take Heathrow Express Train direct from Heathrow The Seymour Hotel seems to be three different hotels ie we were in White Horse Hotel as I am very slow on my feet I had requested low level room we were in fact given a room on the 3rd floor there is no lift which we already knew by the description of the hotel. We had to get up 34 stairs to our room with no one to help us with our lugguage. The carpet on the stairs appears newish and the walls clean although some work has been done to doors and not finished yet.
Our room was small with two twin beds but clean. The ensuite was extremely small and did have rather a smell so we kept our windows open. We picked the hotel for its location rather than comfort breakfast was extremely basic ie tea/coffee meats on plate on each table and yogurts sitting on table and toast and cereal. We only availed of breakfast for one day as it wasnt worth the bother the staff where freindly though.
I was unwell for most of our stay and spent most of my time in bed the maid came each day and asked if i needed anything.
The receptionist was very helpful although we did ask for an alarm call on the morning we were leaving which didnt happen luckily we awoke ourselves but everyone can make mistakes!
We ate at a very nice bar just accross the road THE MONKEY PUZZLE which we had read about on the net. It was very busy for a tuesday night we had a lovely meal reasonable in price although we had a long wait remember to order at the bar though! We were given a free drink each for the wait.
The hotel is literally a place to lay your head in an ideal location it is clean with friendly staff.
The hotel is located very near ST MARY'S HOSPITAL PADDINGTON which I presume is the one where Prince William was born.
A few years ago we stayed in a very similiar hotel in Rome if your looking for somewhere ideally located clean and reasonably priced this is the type of accomodation you should be aiming for but dont be expecting anything grand after all you are in Central London but beware most hotels in this price bracket do not have en suite rooms so read the description of each hotel carefully.
Top Tip: THE MONKEY PUZZLE BAR JUST ACROSS THE ROAD GREAT BAR FOOD REASONABLY PRICED.
ITS CHEAPER TO GET TAXI FROM HEATHROW THAN HEATHROW EXPRESS TAIN AND TAXI MAKE SUE YOU GET FIXED PRICE IE THIRTY FIVE POUNDS FOR TAXI HEATHROW EXPRESS NINETEEN POUNDS EACH AND SEVEN FOR TAXI FROM PADDINGTON STATION

we were a bit shocked to arrive and find we had 2 single beds in our room,we did expect a double bed ,as we are married.Breakfast was filling, but thought in london a cooked traditional breakfast would be on the menu.Hotel was clean and great access to paddington station and oxford street.
