we would definately stay here again, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good location, good value for money.Rooms are small but very modern and comfortable and have everything you need for your stay.Ten minutes walk to times square, same to macys, empire state building.Breakfast room is very small, only has six tables but if you go down at 7am or 9am
you could usually get a table. If none was available you can take your breakfast to your room.Breakfast consisted of breads.bagels.english muffins, waffles, yoghuts.fruit, eggs cheese spread, jams, juice, tea and coffee.Always plenty available.
We was allowed to keep our room an extra 2 hours, usually they charge $50 to keep room for upto 6 hours, but because we only needed 2 they let us have it for free.
We have been to new york before and stayed in upmarket hotel but there was not much of a difference except price beening almost double because it was on 5th ave!
Top Tip: Hot and crusty pizza ,excellent food choice and great prices.Turn left out of hotel cross the lights and tour there.Pub in penn station $4 a pint and big screen for sports.

The hotel is in a brilliant location and only a leisurely 5 minute walk from the Port Authority Bus Station. It costs $15 one way and $25 dollars for a return ticket from Newark and I would recommend using the bus as the hotel is so close. The hotel itself is basic. My wife and two daughters and I shared a twin bedded room. The room was small with not much closet space so we left some stuff in suitcases. The breakfast was ok for a couple of mornings as there are so many places to eat nearby. Breakfast selection was muffins, crossiants, pastries, freshly made waffles, cereals, fresh fruit and fruit juice, tea & coffee. So enough of a selection to get you going.
The hotel staff were really nice and helpful. Our flight was 7.50pm and as you needed to vacate the room by 11.00am we ask the hote what options were open to us. They were leave the room at 11.00am and they would look after the luggage or for $50 keep the room until 7.00pm. We chose the latter. So if you have booked this hotel you have booked a centrally located hotel that is basic but clean and has helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel to others.
Top Tip: Tick Tock Diner does a good breakfast and is located near to Madison Square Gardens, which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
