Holidays to Polis Chrysochous
Polis is a small town in Cyprus with a renowned fishing port and various watersport activities to try from the surrounding beaches. It’s a relatively quiet town, but it does contain several resorts and hotels as well as a wide range of artistic and cultural activities and landmarks. It’s close to the city of Paphos, where you’ll find the classiest restaurants offering fine dining, and the most lively clubs that stay open until the early hours.
This a beach of sand mixed with pebbles and the only beach in Polis. There are sunbeds so you can do some sunbathing.
Outside of Polis is this clean, narrow sandy beach with lifeguards and full facilities available.

This museum, located within the town of Polis, was opened in 1998 and contains a collection of exhibits in 3 rooms.

High in the pine-clad mountains, you’ll find the Kykkos Monastery, decorated ornately and full of vibrant colours.
Around 20 minutes outside Polis, the village of Stroumbi holds an annual 3 day wine festival, complete with dancing.
Stop at one of the traditional tavernas to sample a pure Cypriot meze: a series of small, tapas like appetiser dishes.
Keftedes are widely popular traditional Cypriot meatballs, comprised of seasoned pork mince which has been fried.
Located just off Polis square is this English run bar, tucked in an alleyway with a big lounge area and outdoor terrace.
