Holidays to Binibeca
A seaside town perched on the south eastern tip of Menorca, Spain. It’s 20 minutes’ drive from the island's main town, Mahon, and has 3 separate parts – Cala Torret, Binibeca Nou, and Binibeca Vell. There are a couple of small beaches and the area has lots of bars and restaurants that look out over the ocean. From the village, you can easily explore the rest of the island with cycling tours or hikes.
A small sandy beach with calm waters which are often dotted with kayakers and pedalos. There’s a beach bar.
You can reach the small coves of Binibequer Vell on foot or by taking a bus. They’re more secluded.
Right on the harbour, this celebration of all things nautical is a permanent reminder of Benidorm's maritime successes.
Casa Museo de Benidorm
This archaeological site is remarkably similar to Stonehenge.
San Juan Fiesta
The San Juan Festival takes place in the summer, and involves 100 Menorca-bred horses riding through the streets.
Shopping in Mahon
If you're in the mood to shop, head to Mahon, home to plenty of quaint shops that sell all manner of things.
Spanish island cuisine wouldn’t be complete without seafood tapas. Head 15 minutes by car to Sant Lluis.
Many of the restaurants in the village cater to an English clientele. You’ll find Sunday roasts.
Binibeca is quiet in the evenings so head to Cala Torret. Bars have karaoke, traditional music, and stay open late.
One of the most popular bars in Cala Torret. It’s just near the diving centre and often features a jazz band.
