The hotel which is described as Superior 4 star is certainly not superior. The décor although typically Sardinian, is in need of a complete refurb. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms and certainly in our bathroom we had plastic shower curtains and mismatched tiles. Do not choose this hotel if you have mobility issues, young children in prams as there are many sets of stairs and steps, mostly deep and uneven. There are no slopes. The main pool does have steps into it with a handrail but none of the others do. The main dining room which is a main pool level does not have a way out to the pool so you have to go up to reception and then down at least 15 steps. The lifts are very small and not for anyone with a fear of confined spaces. Breakfast and lunch is served in the Pagoda restaurant which has very narrow stairs into. The breakfast is very limited with no variation and watered down fruit juice. The main restaurant seems only to be used for dinner. We found that some of the staff especially the reception staff were very indifferent to my wife's mobility issues and certainly implied that we should have gone somewhere else. From a positive point of view the views from the terrace and main pool were spectacular and the from gardens were full of lovely flowers. Ironically all of the plants in reception were fake. The location of the hotel is close to the town but there are very steep hills to negotiate with uneven surfaces. With taxi's at a minimum of 20 euros, walking is the only real option. There is no shuttle service to the town.
