Hotel Amine would have so much potential, but let me down many times. You are welcomed to a beautiful grand reception, which unfortunately built up to a huge let down. After being taken to my room, everything looked like it was from the 80's. Didn't look new and fresh. The bed was hard the pillow wasn't a pillow - more a small thin tube which you need to puff out (i didn't sleep well at all) I headed to breakfast - and i found out i was the only person staying in the entire hotel! (no one was around) No buffet they just piled cheap bread and croissants on my plate after serving me a plane small omellete (pure egg) After asking for another with tomatoes - they served me a mushed up mess on my plate which I thought rude so i left it. I also asked the manager if I could have some friends come by and keep my company by the pool. He was very polite and said of course... they didnt even need to enter or pass the rooms to do this. However once they arrived he damanded 150 dirham EACH to use it. We tried to haggle but he rudely rejected - so they had little choice after trecking from the other side of town. Generally a bad experience - I realise why it was empty!
