Visited this hotel in August, big mistake - it was the time Egyptians have their holidays. There were hardly any Europeans in this hotel, the hotel was dominated by Egyptians and Eastern block country folk. The hotel itself is lovely, it could be improved but not by major things. The hotel is predictably staff by men, they were very kind/pleasant to my husband and myself and we were treated differently from other residents. Our service was second to none but I'm sure this was because we were civil and courteous to them. The pool guy reserved our sunbeds and placed the hotel towels on them everyday. The restaurant staff reserved a table for us everyday and frequently gave us a bread basket with rolls. Other visitors had no such treatment. We did ask by email and request when booking for a room near the pool but we didn't get this or a reply from my email. When I enquired I was told that I could have such a room but at a cost, we didn't bother! We were also expecting free wifi throughout this is not the case, only wifi available in reception area. The pool area along with the rest of the hotel is clean but not spotless. I would visit the hotel again but not in August.
