We really enjoyed our stay at this quirky hotel. The staff were very friendly, the room was nicely presented overlooking a quiet side street, and very clean. We stayed in the 'small double' which was more than adequate for us, as we were out sightseeing for most of the day. We thought some of the extra touches were especially nice; the port and chocolate on the final evening, the complimentary tea and coffee and the excellent quality and variety of the breakfast buffet! If you ask for a tray, you can take your breakfast to the terrace. You have to go up a fair few steps but it is a lovely, peaceful spot to sit in and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
