The hotel itself was very nice however the services they provided were definitely not up to the standard of a supposedly 5 star resort. Room maid left several times without leaving toilet paper and tissues in the bathroom, and once our room was not cleaned at all. They did not regularly re-fill the mini fridge with water neither. The hair dryer was broken (was already broken when we got there), had to complain about it twice for them to finally get it fixed. Positive things: beautiful sandy beach (bit too much seaweed though), staff in the buffet restaurant (Casa Del Mar) were superb (Omar always went out of his way to provide us with an excellent dining experience). Rooms were nice spacious. Free WiFi in all rooms and common areas. The resort is a bit secluded, however it is very close to Cancun (17 km) and Puerto Morelos (5 km), which is a lovely fishing village.
