Holidays to Gouvia
Gouvia is a small village just to the north of Corfu Town. In the past, Venetian merchants would come to the harbour to repair their boats. You can still see the remains of the armoury there today. The marina of Gouvia is home to many expensive yachts and, while the beach is quite small, you can still enjoy the many restaurants which line the waterfront. The town also has easy access to many of the other smaller villages on the east coast of Corfu.
There are several small beaches by the water. They are popular, with lots of amenities, with more secluded coves nearby.
A long beach with a few narrow sections of shingle. It lies to the north of Gouvia and is usually busy.
Constructed in the 15th century, you can mount Palaio Frourio and enjoy superb views of the island.
